Helmed by the excellent Dr. Kilgore (pictured here on drums) and his trumpet, the Abelard Jazz Band has been running for over seven years. No level of experience is necessary and all instruments are welcome! Consequently the Jazz Band has gone through numerous iterations in its history, playing with as many as three pianos and as few as zero dedicated Rhythm instruments. 

The repertoire covers music from across Jazz history and occasionally dabbles in other genres. Prior performances have included tracks like: Chameleon, Brother Can You Spare a Dime, I Walk a Little Faster, Girl from Ipanema, Can't Wait for Perfect, My Funny Valentine, Summertime, and, of course, Caravan.
